Referring Vets

For specific concerns, please ask for the Operations Assistant or Practice Manager. All communications will be returned within 48-72 business hours. All refills require 72 business hours. Late fees apply to late/missed appointments and cancellations.

  • There is no fee if an appointment is canceled within 48 business hours of the appointment time, not including the weekends.
  • There is a $175 cancellation fee for new patient/client evaluations if the appointment is canceled within 48 business hours.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS WITH DCFA'S POLICIES, PLEASE ASK TO SPEAK WITH THE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT OR PRACTICE MANAGER.

Our clinic is a healing environment. Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Examples of aggressive behavior include, but are not limited to:

  • Physical assault
  • Verbal harassment and abusive language (e.g., swearing)
  • Sexual language directed at others, and threats of any kind

We do not tolerate ANY form of aggression. Incidents may result in removal from the clinic or other action.

Requirements for Initial Examinations

A summary of the case with complete medical records, including diagnostics and imaging if available

Patients do not need to be fasted nor do their medications need to be altered at this initial visit.

Please advise clients not to bathe their pet within 5-7 days of the initial consultation with our doctors.

Please advise clients to administer appropriate sedatives if the patient is anxious and/or aggressive in the clinic.
