Customer Service Representative

Hi, my name is Tiffany Ragland, and I am a Customer Service Representative at Dermatology Clinic for Animals. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.

Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I love reading and anything fiber-related — I spin, weave, knit, crochet, felt, sew, make lace, and embroider. At home I have two senior dogs who still act like puppies, a Boykin Spaniel named Pixel and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Guinness, along with three cats named Felicia, Ghost, and Riku.

Favorite Part of My Job

My favorite part of the job is talking with all the pet parents and getting to know them and their pets, as well as working with the animals themselves.

Why I Chose This Profession

Before I entered veterinary medicine, I owned a farm and cared for alpacas, goats, livestock guardian dogs, and horses. We had to sell our farm in 2020, but I knew I wanted to continue working with animals.

Education

I earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois, completing my studies from 1998 to 2000. I later studied Linguistics and Medieval Literature at Middle Tennessee State University from 2023 to 2024.

Work History

I worked as a mobile dog groomer during COVID before entering veterinary medicine in 2023. As a Clinic Assistant with PetIQ's mobile vaccination clinic in Murfreesboro, TN, from October 2023 to January 2026, I checked clients in and out, held pets while services were administered, gave vaccines, performed blood draws for tests, trimmed nails, and otherwise assisted the veterinarians I worked alongside.
